Beautiful sunny Sunday

We joined some friends to go sledding again and enjoyed a gorgeous sunny day. Although Fiona wasn't very excited about waking up from her nap for it.

Elmo Live!
Saturday morning we took in a lively show of Elmo and friends at Playhouse Square.




The weekend started with a fun pizza party at Molly and Joel's and great pics of the kids.



And finally Sofia and Fernanda built their first snowman!

Let it Snow!

We went sledding for the girls' first time this weekend in Edgewater Park. Joe took Sofia down the hill and bailed onto the beach.

Medical Mysteries
A couple of weeks ago Sofia suddenly threw up before dinner and vomited several times before sleeping through the night. Our poor Sofia was scared, but we kept her hydrated and thought it was something she'd eaten. She stayed home the next day from school, but was fine. A day or so later I got sick as suddenly as she did. Apparently Fernanda was sick that day as well and a day or so later it hit Joe. Fiona, thankfully, escaped the stomach flu.

Unfortunately, though, late last week her eyes got very red and the doctor thought it might be pink eye. We gave her the prescribed antiobiotic eye drops and it cleared up. Thankfully none of us got it, so it might not had been bacterial. Sorry, no pics of her freaky looking eyes! :)

Fiona's Turn!

Fiona had her first haircut ever on Sunday, February 7, 2010. We took her to Studio, where Sofia had her first haircut. In fact I was pregnant with Fiona when Sofia sat on my lap and had her hair cut. She was a bit wary, but she cooperated and did very well.

Sofia helped me bake a cake for her Valentine's Day class party. In this photo she shows off her handiwork. Unfortunately the "after" shot of Fiona's haircut doesn't show off much of a difference, but believe me her hair looks a little more even.



Joe and I went to Sofia's Valentine's party and enjoyed sharing cookies and juice with her.


As a Valentine's gift, Sofia made a jigsaw puzzle from a family picture. Daddy helped Sofia put it back together.



This weekend we'll be going to a classmate's house for a playdate. Joe and I are also looking forward to our own playdate on Valentine's Day. Fernanda will have the joy of babysitting the girls Sunday morning so we can sleep in. Thanks Fernanda! :)
