Cleveland Rocks!

This past weekend cousin Shawn came to visit and to run the Cleveland 1/2 Marathon. The girls loved him and wouldn't let him out of their sight. The girls and daddy came out on Marathon day to cheer us on. Fernanda ran her first race, a 10K, and did great.

I placed 18th in my age division, but was about 45 seconds slower than last year. I blame this darn cold, but not sure I want to try yet another 1/2 marathon in the fall. It was a beautiful day, perfect running weather, and the spectators were great. Thanks to the Ohio City crew for cheering us on!

We took advantage of Nana visiting to have a photo session with the girls and Joe.

Happy Birthday Sofia!

We had lots going on this past weekend, but primarily it was celebrating Sofia's fourth birthday.

Sofia's one requisite was a balloon for each friend, oh and a Tinkerbell cake.

More celebrations and cake!
A couple of weekends ago we celebrated Cora's second birthday at Memphis Kiddie Park. Fiona enjoyed her first rides on the carousel and ferris wheel as did Big Sister Sofia.





We also took the girls to one of Sofia's classmate's bday party at the "Little Gym" and actually caught the girls on camera being nice to each other.

Sofia's school hosted an art show displaying several pieces of her art work on paper and sculptures.

Granny sent the girls bday gifts, which they loved. Dresses and more dresses oh my!



Lovely Night
Also, part of our busy weekend included my birthday. Nana babysat and Joey took me to dinner at Ponte Vecchio. It was a beautiful night!
