I was home sick all of last week with a really bad cold. I’m feeling better, but it took almost five days to even leave the house. Joe took Sofia to school every day, leaving me to try and rest during the day. I still have a cough that won’t let me sleep for more than 20 minutes at a time and I’m still very congested which makes it hard to lay down (and sleep), but at least I’m back at work.
The baby seems to be fine and my midwife assures me that the cold doesn’t affect her. We have an ultrasound tomorrow, so I’m looking forward to “seeing” her.
