Rock & Tot!

In an effort to maintain my clubbing days fresh, I dragged Joe and Sofia to the first “Rock & Tot” daytime disco/club event in Cleveland. I thought Sofia would enjoy the music (“family friendly” tunes spun by a real DJ) and watching the other tots dancing and running around the club. The event was at the “Velvet Dog” in the Warehouse District. It was a nice venue, complete with velvet lounge chaises and sofas, DJ, cash bar and all the juice you could drink. Fresh fruit, snacks and goodies bags were also provided.

We met up with the Garlands and Will immediately took to bouncing to the music. Sofia was a little more wary, but that might have also been because she woke up from her a nap with a little bit of a fever. She’d been fighting off an ear infection and a cold all week. Nonetheless she slowly got into it.

Unfortunately on Friday, at school, Sofia fell off a chair and slammed her nose. You can see a little scab in one of the photos.

Although we only made it for about 45 minutes, it was fun and I’m hoping we can go in April.
